Makeup for going to night parties can be done by yourself and it doesn’t have many secrets. Those who are not practiced can try these looks at home a few times before using one of them to go out. Check out some makeup suggestions for the night and see how to do them step by step:

How to prepare the skin

To prepare the skin, wash your face thoroughly and use a makeup remover to remove any traces of makeup. Afterwards, use a facial tonic to close the pores and avoid excessive oil.

Then moisturize your skin with a gel or lotion to keep your skin beautiful and replenish the water it loses during the day. Finally, apply the face primer so that the makeup lasts longer and has better definition on your face.

How to apply makeup

The first step of makeup is the application of foundation. Apply foundation to the face with an appropriate brush, starting at the forehead and working down to the other areas of the face. Afterwards, correct minor imperfections and disguise dark circles with the use of a corrective shade.

The next step is blush. Apply blush as you prefer, but don’t overdo it so you can load up on your eye makeup. To make makeup more even and control skin oils, apply a face powder.

The last step before the eyeshadows is the application of the eyeshadow fixative primer. After that, cast a lightening shadow on the spot of light to make your eyes stand out. Or you can also apply a little eye shadow in a shade a little lighter than your skin close to your brow to lift your eyes, but be careful not to use too white, as it can look artificial.

Option 1: Dark Smoky Eye

The smoky eye with eyeshadow in dark color is often used in makeup for night and is very beautiful. With this makeup, the ideal is to use a matte nude or light pink lipstick, preferably without sparkle or gloss, so that your makeup does not become heavy and ridiculous.

To make the smoky eye dark, start by applying a less dark shadow, such as a dark brown, to the concave. After that, use brown to cover part of the eyelid, just above the concave. For the finishing touch, use black eyeshadow or a very dark blue over this lighter shade to get the dark smoky tone you want.

In these makeups, the big secret is to smudge a lot until you are sure that the eyeshadow was not stained or marked on the eyelid.

Option 2: Colored Smoky Eye

The smoky eye can also be done with colored eyeshadows instead of black or dark brown and is also great for ballad makeup. The technique for making it is the same as for dark smoky, but with more cheerful shadow tones, such as coral and blue. With this makeup, lipstick should also be discreet.

For makeup with colored smoky, the most important thing is to always base the eyelid with an opaque light brown eyeshadow, and if possible, use an eyeshadow primer before applying them.

Option 3: Kitten Eye

The kitten-style eye goes well for those who want a more subtle and light makeup for the night.

To make the eye-cat style, start by applying an eye shadow in a natural shade to the eyelid. Go for a shimmering eyeshadow to give your eyes more sparkle and life. The concave can be marked in this look with an eye shadow in a slightly darker skin tone than yours, but it should be done well smoky so as not to be in evidence.

After that, pass the black eyeliner and make a small line upwards after the end of the eyelid. Who has less practice can make the line with an eye pencil first and then apply the eyeliner over the top, because the pencil does not have the same pigmentation, is less intense in color and can smudge.

As this makeup leaves the look very delicate, romantic and discreet, you can use strong lipstick colors or even bet on the return of colored lip gloss. The traditional kitten-style eye looks great with bright red lipstick, but the pink rose and wine are also a knockout for the night.

finishing touches

At the bottom of the eye, apply white pencil to the waterline and smooth some light brown eyeshadow on the outside without reaching the corner of the eye. After finishing your eye makeup, apply several coats of mascara or put on false eyelashes.

You can also fill in gaps in the eyebrow or make it more evident by using an eyebrow pencil or lightly dabbing light brown eyeshadow on it. Another option to enhance smoky looks is to add eyeliner to these makeups too.

To make your makeup last all night, spray makeup fixative at a distance of 30cm from your face and you’re ready to enjoy your party!
