1. Recycling button-down shirt

If you have a button-down shirt or coat that no longer fits, pierced or frayed, you can recycle it into a skirt and children’s pants. To do this, fold the piece and cut it in half. The bottom will be the skirt and the sleeves will turn into a nice pants. See how:

  • Needle, fabric, thread and elastic.

Way of doing:

  • Sew the elastic to the top of the fabric. It is not necessary to make the hem because the hem of the old shirt is already done. Simple as that, now just use it.
