Burger King offers a variety of vegan drinks ranging from classics like Sprite and Dr. Pepper to good-ole lemonade. Sorry, but delicious Fruit Loop shakes are a big no-no and the same goes for the smoothies. No need to fret though, the ICEEs seem pretty legit.

Burger King has upped its vegan game in 2022. From being a total no-go for vegans a few years ago, British Burger King restaurants now have a selection of vegan options. But vegans ordering from Burger King need to be careful, as not all of the plant-based options on the menu are free from contamination.

Burger Kings’ Impossible Whopper features a flame-grilled meatless Impossible patty with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mayonnaise inside a sesame seed bun. While apparently, you can make it vegan by ordering it without mayonnaise, the meatless patty is cooked on the same grill as meat patties.

Each store varies in the particular drinks they have in stock, but Burger King features Coke products on their menu. Surprisingly, Burger King has some great vegan options available any time of day. Also, the burger is more than likely cooked on the same equipment with meat. So, yes, the Impossible Burger is vegan, but it does come with it’s stipulations.

Technically, you could order the side salad with NO cheese or croutons but you will not have a dressing to go on it. The applesauce Burger King carries is Mott’s which contains high fructose corn syrup so that is not an option.

You also can now get a full Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner at BK with their French Toast Sticks and Hash Browns. Word of warning though, too many French Toast Sticks will have you ready to go right back to bed!
