Always packed, the store is ideal for those looking for sporting goods. Adidas, Nike, Mizuno, Fila and Hering are some of the brands sold. How to get to Bom Retiro
For those who are not used to walking in the neighborhood, the best option is to use the subway or train. Light Station is just one block from José Paulino Street and it’s easy to access. The region has many parking lots, which charge by the hour or period, and not all are cheap. It’s worth wandering around a bit to find the best price. Those who arrive early can stop on the street, but Zona Azul is valid until 1pm.
Tips
[[“fid”:””,”view_mode”:”default”,”fields”:”format”:”default”,”field_file_image_description[und][0][value]”:””,”type”:”media”,”link_text”:null,”attributes”:]]Get some friends together and enjoy wholesale prices.
- Most stores do not have a dressing room, but some allow you to try on over your clothes. If you are wearing leggings and a tight blouse it will be easier.
- The street is long and you may spend several hours standing, so go for tennis.
- Making trades is sometimes a problem. Many stores do not change Saturdays or only change color and size, not the model of the piece. To avoid a headache, always ask before taking it.
- Not all stores accept cards, so go prepared with cash and some check sheets.
- Go with a friend. Between six and twelve pieces some stores already consider wholesale and the result is an even lower price.
