Carnival is the official riding holiday. The only problem is that it’s not possible to assemble too much, because the heat of February and the movement of the blocks make us have goats until the glitter, which sticks to the skin and only comes out months later. Halloween parties are usually indoors and in the milder October weather. In other words, it’s the perfect opportunity to overdo the costume and in Halloween makeup.
Even though it’s not an official holiday in Brazil, since I understand myself by people I celebrate Halloween and it’s one of my favorite dates. When I was little, I couldn’t wait to go to school in costume and get sweets from the teachers. Today I spend months before looking for references on Pinterest and each year I incorporate a different character.
I don’t always do one halloween makeup creepy, last year I had to pay tribute to the video for Formation, by Beyoncé. This year I want to embrace the true spooky spirit of the holiday and I brought my inspirations for you to raze:
