If you’re somehow NOT familiar with the commercial I’m talking about, you probably don’t own a TV. But Applebee’s has enlisted Walker Hayes and his song “Fancy Like” for a commercial featuring people on TikTok doing the viral dance for the song.

While watching a routine football game on ESPN, a commercial appeared, featuring a whole litany of people doing a TikTok dance to a song about Applebee’s by Walker Hayes. They danced on their porches and on their wakeboards. Some wore cowboy hats.
Applebee’s fans across the country show off their dance moves to Walker Hayes’ “Fancy Like,” which just happens to reference the restaurant, saying it’s not a bad spot for a “date night.” The country singer suggests trying the Bourbon Street Steak and sharing an OREO Shake with whipped cream.
Featuring the fun lyrics “ fancy like Applebee’s on a date night” with a “Bourbon Street Steak with the Oreo Shake,” fans literally headed to their local Applebee’s to participate in the #FancyLikeChallenge on the video sharing app.
