Burger King is making some major menu cuts. The company has already confirmed cuts to several low-selling items like sundaes and chocolate milk, as well as a reduction in the number of deals and promotions.

Burger King removed some items from its menu in December, including sundaes and a small cup for kids’ beverages. Not a lot of people noticed. The chain’s sales, which rose 1.8% in the quarter ended Dec. 31, showed no difference and there was little talk of it on social media. Franchisees were a different story.

This item unites two culinary classics and was given a punny name, and therefore, people loved it. It possesses a bunch of unique qualities that not every fast food item can brag about. Ergo, Burger King should ponder bringing this back for its fans.

In 2018, Burger King released a combo that had the markings of such an experience. It was called the King Box. This pack consisted of an entrée, small fries, a small soft drink, and two cookies. Patrons could choose either a Whopper sandwich, one of two chicken sandwiches, or chicken tenders as their entrée.

It was called Mac N’ Cheetos, and this meal consisted of deep-fried macaroni and cheese that was covered in Cheeto flavoring. Business Insider additionally stated that these sticks were a limited time product.

Now look, it obvious that this item can’t be served everywhere. After all, Burger King’s ad explicitly states that it needs to be at least 122F for the patties to cook. But if you lived somewhere that ever gets this hot, it’s possible that such a novelty meal would make the heat more bearable.

In the grand scheme of human history, Burger King has been around for less than a blip. According to Britannica , this joint was only created back in 1954. However, despite the fact that Burger King is relatively new, it has seen a stack of products come and go. Some of these items have been absolute trainwrecks. For example, the UK division apologized for making Brussels sprout Whoppers that not everyone liked the idea of before asking its doubters to buy one. But on the other hand, this restaurant has also created some intriguing feeds that deserve to be menued again.

Since making this item, Burger King has released a number of rib-based products. In 2013, CNN said that they had made a Rib Sandwich. And in 2015, Burger King released a four-pack of chicken ribs in South Africa.

Burger King is called Burger King, not Rib King. But even though this is the case, AOL stated that this restaurant’s limited-time pork ribs were going to be exhausted before their 2010 promotion had ended. This article then went onto say that they sold 10 million ribs.

In May of that year, Burger King launched a line of limited-time French To ast Sandwiches. Each of them featured this sweetened bread, one of the aforementioned fillings, American cheese, and an egg.

When did Burger King start shaking up fries?

In 2002, Burger King introduced Shake ‘Em Up Fries, which were
 interesting. It was basically a bag of their regular signature French fries with a side of the cheese seasoning of your choice. You poured the seasoning in (as much as you wanted) and shook them all up in the bag.

Burger Shots were basically Burger King’s way of competing with White Castle. Burger Shots were available back in 2008, when they were sold in six-packs and two-packs. Each pack contained mini Burger King burgers, which basically looked exactly like White Castle burgers. They were topped with one pickle slice, and it cost extra for cheese.

They started selling the Turkey Burger for a limited time only as a way to offer a “healthier” option to customers who were more health-conscious. The Turkey Burger was kind of a risk for the chain since it had never been done before, and although a lot of people liked it, it didn’t end up staying on as a regular menu item.

This was exactly what it sounds like: a Whopper (kind of) rolled up like a burrito. Seriously. It was ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles wrapped in a tortilla instead of put on a bun, like a normal burger. To make things even more confusing, it was topped with queso sauce instead of ketchup or mustard. Why? We may never know. It was created in 2016 and didn’t last long, and honestly
 maybe we don’t miss this one.

One of the great things about fast food places is that they usually offer a pretty reliable menu. Each fast food place is known for certain menu items that everyone knows and loves, and that probably won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Although, actually
 you never know.

The Tots were only around for a limited time, but Cheesy Tots were a menu items years before these as well, so chances are good that BK will have them back eventually!

The Enormous Omelette Sandwich (original name!) was quite enormous. It was made up of eggs, cheese, bacon, and sausage on a sesame seed roll, and it was not good for you at all! The sandwich contained 330 milligrams of cholesterol and 1940 milligrams of sodium, and was eventually discontinued in the U.S.
