Here’s another ingredient the British won’t stand for in their McNuggets: Dimethylpolysiloxane. But Americans are still eating it.

THE SENTENCE: Though they’re supposedly made of good-for-you lean white meat chicken, McDonald’s McNuggets are far from healthy and nutritious. So, if your options are all about deciding whether to nosh on a McNugget or not, your best bet is to fly the coop (just like the disappearing white stuff in that now-you-see-me-now-you-don’t YouTube video you can watch by following the link below in the “Resources” section below).
Eaten in high doses β and it’s hard to determine exactly how much is added to McNuggets β this chemical can be toxic. Possible side effects include nausea, delirium, collapse, tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and vomiting.
