WhatsApp status is back, but with another name; know how to use

WhatsApp has returned to its old status. The feature reappeared in the 2.17.95 beta version of the messenger for Android phones, available for download last Thursday (9). Despite this, the status with videos and photos that disappear in 24 hours – in the style of Snapchat, Instagram Stories and Facebook Messenger Day – continues to work normally. For those who don’t remember, the old WhatsApp statuses were phrases placed by the user next to their profile picture. They were visible in the contacts tab and ended up disappearing with the change in the application. In the latest update, the old status returns to the app, but with a new name – now called “Note”. His usage, however, remains the same.

Many users were dissatisfied with the new status of WhatsApp, which disappears after a day, in the same style as Instagram Stories and Snapchat. The return of the old function may be a way that the messenger found to please those who complained about the newness. Despite this, the new statuses must not end.

Step 2. Then go to “Settings” and you will already see your old status below the name. To change it, open the profile settings by tapping on top of your photo.
