What to Wear at a Winter Party (Christmas and New Years Ideas)

First it all depends on your style and how you want to feel.

But first let’s get to the basics:

In winter it can be difficult to choose clothes for parties.

You can feel limited and a little lost, especially if you don’t know the tricks to dress warm and fashion.

To find out, read this article first.

If you already know that you can wear almost anything in winter, as long as you wear warm layers under the clothes you’ve chosen, then it’s much easier to decide what to wear because you have a lot more options and don’t keep thinking “Would I be cold with this ?”

In that case, the objective is to choose a set that you feel like wearing and that is your style so that you feel confident and comfortable.

Here’s a very easy way to create a ensemble (this is almost always how I decide what to wear). let’s call it Centerpiece:

First decide which piece you really want to use. Is it a sequin dress, jeans, a cute sweater you just bought? Then create a set with that piece.

Easy, isn’t it?

Don’t forget that at this point the most chic party is New Year’s Eve, then Christmas Day and the most “casual” Christmas Eve. But it also all depends on where you’re going to spend the party and with whom, of course 😉

If you are going to a work party (or another) the easiest thing is to choose a casual-chic outfit. If your work environment is very formal, even better because you’ll have more options that you normally can’t use (but don’t go overboard ;)). Try wearing a short skirt or dress (4 fingers above the knee is fine), or more accessories and/or glitter (example: a bib necklace or a sequined skirt).
