How many vacation days did Americans waste?
According to Project Time Off’s annual State of the American Vacation report, this year Americans wasted a record-breaking 658 million vacation days. That’s a lot of missed opportunities for a little R&R, and a pretty serious indictment of our overwork culture.

Not being able to remember the last vacation you took is as good a reason as any to book one ASAP. If you can’t remember when you last had time off and last slept somewhere other than your bed, it’s been too long .
You don’t have to book a vacation every time you feel stressed. Something tells us that would be expensive. But it’s a good idea to monitor how you’re reacting to that stress. You’re in need of a vacation when you start turning to unhealthy methods of dealing with it.
