1- Bet on long-lasting makeup
If you’re the birthday boy’s mom, chances are you’ll have to spend much of the party working out details of the event and greeting guests — in addition to caring for a toddler. Therefore, practicality is essential on that day. As you will hardly have time to touch up your make-up, the tip is to bet on products that will last all night without smudging or melting during the party.
2- Give preference to light or neutral tones
Even if the party happens at night, it is a good idea to prefer lighter or neutral colors, both for eyeshadow and lipstick. Children’s parties call for a little softer production and, as the birthday boy’s mother, you don’t want to draw attention by overdoing your makeup, right? Nudes and earthy tones are ideal for a 1 year party.
