Festa Junina: Ideas for customizing children’s clothing
Hello! The time for the best party in the world is coming: Festa Junina!! Around here, Pedro and Cacá are already in full swing with the gang’s rehearsals and I’ve already started looking for ideas to customize children’s clothes!
I love doing the decorations on pants, vests, hats, dresses, makeup with mustache… I love party games, hoops, fishing, clown mouth… and what about the food? Junina Party Food is the best party food in the world!
For this year’s inspirations, I love these ideas here:
I loved this tie made with felt and satin ribbon! I’m #aloka of hot glue and I’m sure this is a super simple idea to reproduce!
Patchwork pants and vests can’t be missing, right? You can use fabric scraps that you have at home, satin ribbons, burlap… If you don’t have any of that at home, these domestic junk stores for R$1.99 have plenty of things you can reuse!
You can also make the vest using black or brown TNT and it’s very cheap and simple! If you’re not an expert with needles, throw yourself into the hot glue and everything’s fine! 😉
Cacá loves hairstyles! Here are 2 ideas for using mini hats that you find in bazaars and party houses! There is a step by step step to make the tiara on this link ON HERE
Instead of wearing the mini hats, lots of colored ribbons are sure to charm the girls’ hair! You can do a straight hairstyle using ribbons and more ribbons, or spruce up hair elastics to make pigtails!
The little ones can also dress up with this simple customization! A basic bodysuit with patchwork appliqués!
Another great idea that I loved is to reuse a dress that is already shorter by customizing it for the June party! In this one, many satin ribbons and a tulle overskirt with appliqués of flags! Beautiful thing!
And if your little one is the gang’s bride, a good outfit idea is to wear a white bodysuit or leotard (these are ballet) with a simple white skirt and tulle overskirt with appliqués. This tiara veil is also very simple to make using tulle, lace, satin ribbon, scraps and lots of hot glue!
And you know that tutu you made at Carnival (didn’t you? There’s step by step ON HERE)? Just decorate with little flags and that’s it! Caipirinha dancer because yes! <3
I found all these ideas there on Pinterest and some of them are from artisans who accept orders (if you are not one of those who love to get your hands dirty). Click on this link ON HERE to go there on my dashboard and see these and other ideas with direct links to suppliers and step by step!
Oh how I love Festa Juninaaaa!!!
Kisses! 😉
