Female haircuts are, on average, 20% more expensive in Belo Horizonte, says research – Horizontes
In one year, the female haircut was, on average, 20% more expensive in Belo Horizonte. The value rose from R$69.11 to R$83.21, according to data from a survey released on Monday (30) by the Mercado Mineiro website. The survey was carried out between the 20th and 27th of this month.
Also according to the survey, the cut had a 600% variation between the evaluated salons, costing between R$ 30 and R$ 210. According to the director of the research site, Feliciano Abreu, the values are often justifiable “in by virtue of the structure, location and quality of service providers”.
Regarding the men’s cut, the research shows a price variation of 800%, which can cost between R$ 20 and R$ 180. The average price rose from R$ 41.28 to R$ 48.06, an increase of 16 .44%.
Other data
According to the study, shaving in the beauty salon was 14.53% more expensive, rising from R$22.50 to R$25.77. In relation to the manicure and pedicure service, the increase was 11%. Until August 2020, the average value was R$37.26, jumping to R$41.48 in one year.
