Can Oat Milk Make Your Skin Break Out?

Oat milk can make your skin break out. Oat milk contains 20 grams of carbs per cup, which can cause insulin spikes that may result in hormonal acne. Additionally, oat milk may contain trace amounts of gluten from the processing. Gluten sensitivity can become a problem that results in skin inflammatory conditions.

Dairy, and more specifically, dairy milk, is one of the worst food groups when it comes to acne. But what about milk alternatives, like almond, soy, coconut, hemp, oat, and flaxseed milk? Believe it or not, these milk alternatives could be doing more harm than good for your skin.

This causes harmful bacteria and Candida fungal to settle. Irritable bowel syndrome, itching, and skin rashes are the result. If you replace cowโ€™s milk with oat milk, you will make a simple but brilliant decision that will save you many problems.

Oats are gluten free, however if the oats or oat beverage are processed with equipment that is not certified then cross contamination can result in inflammation of the disease. Oat milk may be good when taken in moderation, but might not be as good as it sounds when compared to cowโ€™s milk.
