Hydration ensures beautiful skin in the pregnancy test
Water is a source of life and is very good for mom and baby! In addition, drinking plenty of fluids helps keep your skin super hydrated – a prerequisite when ensuring a beautiful, well-done make-up.
Marcela Queiroz, from holy makeup, is my partner and a very good makeup artist. For her, hydration becomes more important during pregnancy because a woman’s skin changes a lot during this period because of hormones.
We also know that pregnant women cannot use any product on their skin, in order not to harm the baby. An good hint to use is the vitamin C, which has no contraindications and gives a wonderful freshness to the skin.
But it’s not just about hydrating during the day, ok? Ma emphasizes that this skin care should be a daily practice in your routine.

Colors follow the photographic style of the essay
After her skin is really hydrated, Marcela studies the photo shoot style and plans the color palette she will use in the pregnant woman’s makeup. By the way, Ma is full of “tricks” and has a lot to teach us. That’s why I invited her to a live! O/

In general, the skin’s look should be very natural in the pregnant women’s test, being one more point than your make up for your day to day. As for the colors, try to use the variations of shades of brown, nude and pink.
Ma never forgets to highlight the look, marking well with a coffee-colored eyeshadow, for example. She finishes with the false eyelashes! This values and raises the eye. And you know how important the eyes are in a photo shoot, right? But be careful, they are not huge eyelashes, they are super delicate and only serve to highlight yours a little more.
Appreciate natural beauty in the pregnancy test
Makeup has a fundamental role in the good result of any test, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be carried. In pregnant women’s photos, for example, the objective is only to disguise blemishes and imperfections, in addition to leaving the pregnant woman with a relaxed air because many do not sleep well at this stage. 😴
So, if the woman so desires, the makeup will hide spots that are usually uncomfortable during pregnancy: dark circles, melasmas and other blemishes. Marcela says that some mothers ask to disguise their swollen nose, or cheeks that have grown too large.
For that, she uses a very popular trick in photography as well: working with light and shadow. With lighting and contouring techniques, the features can become thinner and value what you love the most.
